Our company is American Indian owned, carrying on a centuries-old tradition of native herbal knowledge. We pack and ship our products at the Santa Ana Indian Reservation, located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Joseph Sung Nica (Lakota Sioux, meaning No Horses) represents the first generation of his family to live off the reservation. A Plains Indian with a Ph.D., Dr. Hesbrook combines Indian herbal traditions with the modern day celebration of tea drinking. Mechele Hesbrook is of Irish descent, and blends her Celtic heritage and personal knowledge of herbs with those of her native family. Our two daughters, Itokaga Omani Hoksi (Lakota meaning Southward Journey Child) and Sung Nica Hoksi (No Horses Child) grace these web pages and our tea labels. We believe you will find our balanced, uplifting teas to be some of the most visually beautiful, enticingly aromatic, and sensual tasting that you will ever drink. They're delicious hot or on ice. |
